For one special night we became the Southern California Rum Club, as Richard Seale of Four square Rum Distillery brought his passionate love for “no additive rum” to us. He dropped some serious rum knowledge and lead us through some of the best releases the distillery has put out. As many of you know, there is a movement toward a new rum classification system, and Richard is on the forefront of explaining it and pushing for its adoption. So please join us to taste firsthand why Four square is becoming a household name and to learn about the quickly changing rum landscape. 



The tasting was as good as it gets, with the entire exceptional cask selection series and both European-only Velier bottlings, including the just released Triptych! We never try to hype events, but this is one that we will talk about for a long time. Even if you don’t like rum you will appreciate what Four square is doing from a whiskey-fan perspective. Trust us on this!
