Back in late August 2020 we were presented with 5 Paul John unpeated, bourbon cask samples for a club barrel pick with Koray. As a group, we really wanted an expression that exemplified the distillery character, but has a bit of unique character to it. The choice was nearly unanimous and as soon as the Zoom ended we started the process thinking we’d have the bottles by the end of the year. Little did we know that Covid-19 would postpone the packaging, the boat would be delayed due to the blockage of the Suez Canal, and the bottles would get shipped across the USA twice. Now, a year later, it has finally make its way home to Los Angeles to share it with all the Paul John fans out there. Fun fact; this is the first Paul John distillery released single cask available in USA. Cheers everyone!
