We are very excited to have an evening of bourbon and rye led by Ashley Erwin, Angel’s Envy Brand Educator in the back room at The Phoenix. We will be hosting a sensory experience that will include a Port tasting paired with chocolate to see how their product is shaped by this component. To start the night, there will be complimentary appetizers and a welcome cocktail served. And as an added incentive, there will be Angel’s Envy notebooks, wing pins, mini Angelinos, and other goodies to give out. Whether you’re a seasoned bourbon aficionado or a curious newcomer, join us for a fun + educational experience.

about Angel's Envy:
Angel’s Envy was founded by Bourbon Hall of Fame member and Master Distiller, Lincoln Henderson, and his son Wes Henderson in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky. Built on a tremendous legacy and a pioneering spirit, Angel’s Envy innovated the foundations of bourbon and rye through a unique “secondary finishing” technique. Every aspect of production tightly controlled — from yeast strains through distillation. Angel's Envy is made in small batches of six to eight barrels at a time. After aging their Whiskeys about six years in new oak, they finished them — the Bourbons in Port Wine casks and the Rye — in Cognac/Rum casks. [link]
