Southern California Whiskey Club is delighted to welcome Michael Fawthrop, National Courvoisier Brand Ambassador. This event will start with a welcome Old Fashioned cocktail and appetizers before we will dive into the world of French Cognac to learn new + similar things from the spirits we enjoy. I really enjoyed this presentation and the delicious cognacs — so I had to share this with the club because it was a lot of fun and very informative!

about the brand:

Courvoisier is a brand of cognac, with production based in the town of Jarnac in the Charente region of France. Their collection of exuberant cognacs has led them to become the Most Awarded Cognac House based on 20 top spirits competitions since 2019. Located ten minutes from the town of Cognac, the main Courvoisier business operations still operate from the Château on the banks of the Charente river which was established in the 1870s. Courvoisier sources eaux-de-vie from the following crus to create its blends: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fin Bois.
