Southern California Whiskey Club is excited to have industry legend Dave Mitton, Global Brand Ambassador with Corby Brands presenting their award-winning Canadian rye whiskies from Lot 40 and J.P. Wiser’s. Dave launched the Toronto cocktail scene and is an ambassador for all things Canadian. Learn about differences in the production of Canadian rye whisky versus rye whiskey produced in the U.S. with some tasty examples.

about Dave Mitton:
Dave is the Global Ambassador for International Canadian Spirits such as; Lot No. 40, J.P. Wiser’s, Gooderham and Worts, and Pike Creek whisky. This role keeps him quite busy to say the least. Heading up engagement and advocacy on all things Canadian. He has a passion when it comes to educating bartenders and consumers alike about the history, the production and of course the history and creation of cocktails with Canadian Whisky. He was the co-owner and operator of several establishments in Toronto such as The Harbord Room and Czehoski over the past fifteen years. He was also the inaugural President of The Canadian Professional Bartenders Association, Ontario Chapter, for its first three years. He and his drinks have been featured in numerous publications around the globe and they’ve also found their way onto several television shows and documentaries over the years as well.
